Converting to a JAA licence can be somewhat involved and in some instances hard and time consuming, in this page we will try to guide you through the maze of information that is available to best get you a JAA pilots licence. Note to Canadian pilots wanting to convert:

• The initial category 1 JAA medical has to be done in Europe. It cost 600£ in the UK.

• The JAA exams have to be done in the country that you completed the medical in. The only exception to this rule is the UK where JAA exams can occasionally be done in Orlando.

• For more detailed information please contact the European Civil aviation authority you are planning on dealing with. Do not call us for more info, we don't have more info.

• At present we can only help you with the ground school by selling you a Distance Learning ground school. You can not do the IR skills test in Canada.
